Wrigley Field

On Saturday, we went to see the Cubs play at Wrigley Field. We rode the train in to the game which was exciting for Cameryn. We only bought 2 tickets and so only had 2 seats to share between the 3 of us. Next time I would definitely buy Cam her own seat. It was just a little cramped and a little warm. Luckily were were sitting under the top deck and so we weren't directly in the sun. She did really great with sitting through most of the game though thanks to my I Pod and food (hot dogs, pretzels, ice cream) and made in through the 7th inning before heading back to the hotel for a nap.

Polar Play Zone

This was the kids area of the aquarium. It had dolphins, penguins, and belugas as well as a submarine they could play in and an area to climb and slide like penguins. I also got to feel a starfish. I tried to get Cameryn to touch one but she was too afraid.

And We're Off....

We headed to Chicago Friday morning with our DVD player, snacks, crayons, and books to keep Cameryn busy. The ride went pretty quickly until we got almost into Chicago and hit a big storm. The thunder and lightening passed through pretty quickly but the downpour continued for awhile. We went straight to the aquarium and  Kevin got completey soaked running from the parking garage (we didn't have umbrellas).Cam and I used Kevin's waterproof jacket so she stayed pretty dry and I did except for my capris. Kevin was so wet though that we had to buy him a new t-shirt from the gift shop as soon as we got in!

Cameryn's First Wedding!

We went to Julianne's wedding on Friday night. Cameryn was pretty good during the ceremony. She mostly looked through the hymnal and drew on the offering cards. She was very interested in what was going on though and prayed with all of us for Julianne and Jeremie's start of their life together!

Music Class

We just finished up music classes for the summer. This year the theme was Zoo Train which was perfect for Cameryn. Each week, we boared the Allealleo train to go and visit different animals. There were songs that went with each animal and instruments we played as well. We got a CD to keep with all of these songs which we have been listening to non-stop in the car. Cameryn has most of the songs memorized now and is constantly singing one of them!
