Cameryn and I went to a tea party on Saturday and she dressed up as Elsa from Frozen. They had stations set up for the girls to get their nails, hair, and makeup done. They also had an area to make crowns and cookie decorating. We had a really great time and can't wait to go again next year!

Warming Up
After a record breaking winter, we needed to enjoy some warmer weather so we headed to Maui Sands in Sandusky. The kids had a great time on the lazy river, slides, and in the basketball pool. Cameryn was tall enough to go on some of the bigger water slides this year. I was hesitant about her going on one of the body slides so we had her go on a double tube ride with either Kevin or I. She screamed and screamed but loved it.
More Snow...NO!!
Well it's finally March and that means better weather right? Not this year! We got another 8 inches of snow in the middle of March and had two more days off of school. It was just posted that Toledo actually won the award for the most miserable winter in all of the country between snow and cold. What an awful award to win! We took advantage of more snow though and headed outside to burn off some energy. The kids had lots of fun playing over at Ben and Nick's on top of the high snow piles.
Arts and Crafts
On my 14th snow day of the year, we made some St. Patrick's Day crafts. It was a special day for Avery since I let her use markers and paint. She did a pretty good job and Cameryn actually ended up more of a mess.

Spring Alive!
Little Red Riding Hood
Hansel and Gretel
Sleeping Beauty
Alice In Wonderland
The Wizard of Oz
Peter Pan
After the Butterfly Exhibit, we headed over to check out Spring Alive which had floral exhibits based on all of the fairytales. There was also ice carving, merry-go-round rides, a puppet show, and crafts. The exhibits were really amazing! The Wizard of Oz and Sleeping Beauty were our favorites. It was a little cold out and we had just gotten 3-4 more inches of snow but we had a blast. It was fun to see the polar bears and wolves enjoying the snow too.
