We welcomed Avery Grace on July 26th at 12:14pm. At 2 weeks early, she weighed in at 7lbs 9oz and was 19 3/4 inches long. She was born with a lot of hair which has a reddish hue to it. This comes from Kevin's side of the family. It will be interesting to see if she keeps all of this hair and it stays the same color. Cameryn started out with very dark hair when she was born before losing it all and it coming back in blonde.
Since we went to see Brave last week, we have been reenacting the movie. Cameryn is usually the Queen or Princess Merida. She kept asking for one of the costumes and she had some birthday money so we went to Target and she picked out this dress along with the crown, earrings, and necklace. Now all she is missing is Merida's crazy red hair!
We have been going to Toddler Time at the Perrysburg pool throughout the summer. It's every morning from 10-12 and only for children ages five and under. They have a really nice zero entry pool that Cameryn can touch throughout the whole area. It has been nice for Mommy to be able to cool off here too!
Thankfully it cooled off this week and we were able to get outside more. We finally broke out Cameryn's tee-ball set that she got for her birthday. She surprised me with how well she did hitting the ball. She's still really enjoying her sponges and spray bottle as well as her water table. She ends up soaked from head to toe pretty much every time we go out!
Our friend Barb took Cameryn's 3 year pictures for us at one of my favorite metroparks in the Toledo area. She did a wonderful job of capturing all of Cameryn's personality from happy to mad to serious!
