Painting Pumpkins!

We had fun painting pumpkins tonight! We got our sponges and paintbrushes and let the girls go to town. Cameryn loves pretty much any sort of craft and concentrated for quite awhile on creating her masterpiece. Avery had a fun time painting and even more fun trying to eat the paint and smearing it all over her face and hair. Good thing it was bath night!

Our Newest Family Member

My sweet niece, Milan, arrived last Tuesday! Cameryn and I got to go down and meet her last weekend and got some good cuddle time in. I can't wait to watch her grow. Congrats Lindsey and Steve!

Ready to Swim

These pictures crack me up! I got out this 2T bathing suit for Avery thinking it may be a little big but it was not big at all. Her little chubby legs and arms were just too cute to resist taking pictures of.

Scoop Scoop!

Avery has become quite obsessed with using a fork and spoon and having her own bowl. Half of the food ends up on her hands or all over the tray but she doesn't care!

The Pumpkin Farm

We went to Stevens Gardens in Monclova last weekend. The weather was beautiful and we had a great time. We picked out several pumpkins to carve and paint as well as use for decoration. The girls had a blast pulling our pumpkins around in the wagons. They also had animals (goats, rabbits, turkeys, and a donkey) and a small hay maze. Cameryn was hesitant about the hay maze at first and wanted me to go with her but once she found several older boys to follow she was fine. We finished up our visit with a hay ride and got to try fresh corn right out of the field. It was so sweet and juicy!

Letters and Numbers

Cameryn has been working on her letters and numbers both at school and home. She gets two homework sheets each week (one letter, one number) and so far has been pretty excited about doing them. She is able to recall all of the letters on her own and knows most of the letter sounds. We made the sailboat for Uncle Scott's birthday last week. She was so excited to sign her name and put her hand print on the boat. Happy birthday Uncle Scott!
