6 months old already!

Hot Chocolate

Cameryn and I made this mug of hot chocolate last week. The hot chocolate is actually chocolate syrup that Cameryn painted on and then we added colored marshmallows to top it off.

We can't believe that Avery will be 6 months old at the end of this week. She has started to do lots of fun new things including talking, squealing, rolling from back to belly, and scooting around on her back. She is also laughing a lot more!

Kalahari

We went to Kalahari this past weekend with 5 other families- 10 adults and 9 kids. We stayed in a condo again that is right behind Kalahari. The kids were surprisingly very well behaved which I think was partly because they didn't really know each other and partly because the place was big enough for everyone to have their own space. Cameryn enjoyed the slides again but her favorite had to be the wave pool. She spent most of her time jumping over the waves and riding on the tubes. Avery didn't spend much time in the water. If her feet were even touching the water, she needed to have a life jacket. She wasn't a big fan of the life jacket so she did a lot of watching and some sleeping.

Burning Off Some Energy

We headed over to Sylvania Playland on New Year's Eve with my mom. I thought it would be packed but it wasn't too bad. Most of the older kids were next door playing the new glow mini-golf. Cameryn had a blast and was able to burn off some much needed energy from being home on break with mommy for two weeks.

Christmas Continued

The Sunday after Christmas we celebrated with Kevin's grandma, aunt, and uncle. Cameryn got to play Chutes and Ladders with Grandma Katie and Aunt Barbara and Avery got to visit with another red head. :)

So Much To Say...

Avery has been all about grunting the last several weeks but has now started to "talk" more and grunt less. Since this video she has been even more vocal!

Coloring and Writing

Here's a picture that Cameryn colored yesterday and her name written on the back. I was pretty impressed with her name!

Just Lounging Around

Cameryn has really been enjoying her princess couch/bed that she got for Christmas from my grandparents.
