Christmas in Amherst!
We celebrated Christmas with Nana and Papa and Aunt Lindsey on Monday morning. By this time, Cameryn had been opening presents for 3 days and was about done. She was just ready to play! Once she opened some presents though she was very excited about her new sleeping bag, her fishing game, some Rudolph books, a Cabbage Patch doll, and Colorforms.
On a side note, Santa was pretty good to me too! We got a new camera and a new laptop! Thank goodness for both because our laptop had lost keys and become slow and our camera needed the button pushed about 10 times before it would take a picture!
Little Drummer Girl
Steve (soon to be Uncle Steve) gave Cameryn a real drum for Christmas. He is a drummer and had an extra one and yes asked my permission to give it to her. I may be regretting this decision down the road! :) Steve taught Cameryn a few things and she was a bit hesitant at first but then went at it. She actually followed what he taught her pretty well. Steve then played some for her which she loved!
HO HO HO!
Cameryn didn't wake up Christmas morning until close to 8am. I was up much earlier and kept telling Kevin that I wanted to wake her up. We left out cookies and milk for Santa and Cameryn thought he didn't come since he left a few bites. We had to explain that Santa had lots of cookies to eat and couldn't possibly eat all of them. Santa got her a easel which was all set up for her. She was thrilled and so excited that she barely wanted to open the rest of her presents. She was pretty into the stocking though and the fact that Santa wrapped all of her presents in Rudolph paper!
Christmas Eve!
We celebrated Christmas with the Secrest's on Saturday night! Cameryn was very excited to open presents and help pass out the presents. She got her very own camera from Uncle Scott which she was thrilled about and took lots of pictures of our feet! She also got some great new blocks, dress-up dolls, and games from Grammy and Grandpa and a make your own cookie set and clothes from Aunt Marge!

Zoo Lights!
We went to the zoo lights with Kristi, Chris, and Andrew a few weekends ago. It was probably the coldest day we have had so far so we were all very bundled up. The kids had fun though especially riding the older carousel and drinking hot choclate!
