Avery started preschool this year. I may not have been ready but she was. She had a pretty smooth transition and has had lots of fun so far. They have had firefighters come visit, gotten to go in the firetruck, gone on a picnic, and had a fun all about me week.
One of the last weeks of summer vacation, we went to Cedar Point with my parents, Kevin's mom, and his brother. Scott got vouchers from a trip he took his students on earlier in the season. We had a great day and the girls loved all of the rides and characters. What a difference for Avery from a year ago when we took our Disney trip!
Avery picked to have a Paw Patrol party to celebrate her birthday. My mom made a great puppy cake and we had lots of pup themed foods: pup corn, dogs in a blanket, fruit kibble, paw-sta salad, and toilet water. Avery did great opening presents and had a great time celebrating with family and friends!
Avery was so ready for her birthday this year. I loved watching her excitement as she opened each present!
