Stuck At Home
Due to all of the snow, ice, and cold temperatures we were stuck in the house for almost 3 days. Both Lucas and Wood counties had Level 3 snow emergencies which meant that you couldn't drive unless you were considered an essential employee. Kevin still had to go in so that people could get their medicine but the girls and I were home and looking for things to keep us busy. One thing we did was to bring the snow inside. We used water squirters with warm water, food coloring, measuring cups and spoons. This kept Avery busy for about 30 minutes and Cameryn for almost an hour. We also made green snow ice cream which was a big hit. Play dough and shaving cream
art also kept us very busy. Luckily, today Avery and I were able to make it out of the house for lunch. After 3 days of school being closed, it looks like we should be back to work tomorrow.
Fun In The Snow!
Sunday morning we headed over to do some more sledding and play in the snow before the roads got bad and the arctic blast arrived. It was fairly warm so we were able to stay for over an hour. The Wolny's joined us and the kids had a great time sledding together and throwing snow balls.
Imagination Station
We took a family trip to Imagination Station last Saturday. We hadn't been for awhile and this was really the first time that Avery could join in on the fun. She had a blast with the house, grocery store, and hospital. Cameryn, of course, had lots of fun too and really enjoyed some of the building exhibits outside of the kids area.
New Years Eve Celebration
We had a play date on New Years Eve with Ben, Nick, Andrew, Matthew, and Logan. After playing for awhile and eating lunch, the kids got to have a little party. Barb brought over sparkling cider as well as party hats and noise makers. The kids had a blast toasting with each other and drinking out of their champagne flutes.

Cookies with Cousins
The weekend before Christmas we went over to the Posadny's for dinner and cookie making. The kids had lots of fun playing, decorating cookies, and dumping hundreds of puzzle pieces all over the living room. :)
Christmas Crafts
Cameryn and I had lots of fun making Christmas crafts this year. We made Christmas trees, peppermint playdough (which smells amazing), and thumbprint lights.
