Camp Fire- S'mores and Stories!

The week Kevin was off for vacation, we headed up the cottage for some camp fire fun. Cameryn was very excited but not sure what to think about the fire. I think it was too hot for her. She also was not a big fan of the s'mores. She half roasted 1-2 marshmallows and then preferred to just eat the ingredients separately. Kevin took his new tent up to the cottage for him and Cam to sleep in but that day had only been a high of about 68 and it got down into the 40's that night. So instead they popped the tent inside the cottage and slept there.

First Fishing Trip

My dad took Cameryn on her first fishing trip this past week and Kevin and I tagged along. Kevin, my dad, and Cam caught only four keepers but about thirty fish total. Cameryn even caught the biggest one. She did a great job helping get the minnows ready and into the net and reeling the fish in. She didn't want to get too close though once they were in the boat.

Comfy Couch

In addition to enjoying the rocking chair, Avery also loves to sit, stand, and lay on Cameryn's princess couch. So far, this hasn't caused many issues with Cam.

Rockin' Sisters!

Avery loved the little rocking chair at my parents this past weekend. She would back herself into the chair and then rock and rock. She was so proud of herself too!

Princess Camp

Cameryn went to Princess Camp at the YMCA this week and had a great time. They made wands, crowns, magic mirrors, and much more. At the end of the week, they had a tea party with all of the parents. Cameryn can't wait to go again next year!

Fun at the Fair!

We went to the Wood County Fair last weekend with the Posadny's and enjoyed lots of rides, animals, and yummy fair food!

Wildlife Safari: Walk-Thru

After feeding the animals we headed over to the walk-thru. They had a bunch of animals as well as an animal show and camel rides. Cameryn was a little hesitant about the camel but we were able to talk her into it and she enjoyed it! Kevin and I really wanted to ride him too but we were too big.
