My mom and I took Cameryn to the zoo on Saturday afternoon. It was late and most of the animals were either sleeping or in for the day. We were able to see Baby Lucas for a few minutes though and the meerkats standing at attention. We almost got to spend a lot of time with the animals though because by the time we made it to the back entrance the gates were all closed and locked. I had started to panick but the guy who had locked up was just standing in the parking lot and came and let us out. I'm sure the front gate would have been open but it would have taken a long, long, long time for us to walk to the front and then back all the way around the zoo.
